Southampton manager Claude Puel says he will be patient with record signing Sofiane Boufal, despite the forward making an instant impact on his return from injury. Boufal, who joined the Saints from Lille for a club record fee of £16m in August, made his belated full debut for the club in the EFL Cup fourth round tie against Sunderland on Wednesday having missed the opening two-and-a-half months of the season with a knee injury. The 23-year-old stole the show at the St Marys, hitting a stunning winning goal to secure a 1-0 victory for his side and set-up a quarter-final clash away at Arsenal. Boufal joined the Saints in the summer, but missed the opening months of the season with a knee injury suffered in May But Puel says he will continue to monitor Boufals comeback and insists the Morocco international will not be rushed into regular first-team football after spending such a lengthy spell on the sidelines. Boufal, of course, scored a fantastic goal. It was an important goal because it gave us a good result, its important for the squad, its important for him after five months out, Puel said. All is not perfect because its just the start of his comeback, but we must be patient with him because he can come back step by step. For his first possibilities on the team, its very interesting to see him and now all the people can see his qualities. Southamptons record signing Boufal scores a superb winner to knock Sunderland out of the EFL Cup But its important to keep him at a good level and he can participate with moderation, he cannot play every time.Southampton will aim to stretch their unbeaten run in the Premier League to six matches when they host Chelsea on Super Sunday, live on Sky Sports 1 HD. Claude Puel insists he will not rush his record signing into regular first-team action I think for the moment its interesting to see my players every time with different players, Puel added. For me its the most important with this capacity to play many games and keeping always the same intensity of play.It is important for the future and to have results and for the moment it is a good dynamic between players. MUMBAI INDIANSYou should support them because… Jos Buttler is playingThe England wicketkeeper has been in fine form for England over the winter and after a starring role in Eoin Morgans sides run to the World T20 final, he will now head to Mumbai. The reigning IPL champions paid out £385,000 to secure Buttlers services and he will now join up with the likes of Rohit Sharma, Lasith Malinga and Kieron Pollard. Gayle, in particular, has enjoyed himself during his time with the Bangalore franchise, hitting a record-breaking 175 not out against Pune Warriors in 2013. Even if he doesnt fire, the chances are one of Kohli, Watson and De Villiers will. Having retained South African trio JP Duminy, Imran Tahir and Quinton de Kock, they have added another Protea Chris Morris, Englands Sam Billings and a certain Carlos Brathwaite to their ranks. Could they finally live up to their promise in 2016? Punjab are led by a South African, in David Miller, but there is a strong Aussie influence with Glenn Maxwell, Shaun Marsh and Marcus Stoinis joining Johnson. David Hasselhoff starred as Michael Knight in the 1980s televisual gem Knight Rider, with his character fighting crime with his artificially intelligent car KITT. Kolkata Knight Riders kit is a cracker, too - an excellent purple strip - and there are plenty of star names who will wear it, including West Indies all-rounder Andre Russell, Bangladeshs Shakib Al Hasan and New Zealand boundary hitter Colin Munro, as well as home favourites Gautam Gambhir, Yusuf Pathan and Robin Uthappa.dddddddddddd There will be a legend in charge, too, with Jacques Kallis now head coach following Trevor Bayliss switch to England. Morgan scored one fifty in nine innings for Sunrisers in 2015, with captain David Warner and the mustachioed Shikhar Dhawan the main run getters. Those two remain this year and with Yuvraj Singh, Kane Williamson and Moises Henriques in tow, Morgan will have to quickly regain the form that deserted him during the World T20 to force his way into the side and stay there. Bravo may do a jive if his famed slower balls come up trumps and with James Faulkner having been signed, too, Lions possess seamers with more tricks up their sleeves than Dynamo. Gujarats batting also looks handy - Aaron Finch and Brendon McCullum will provide some wallop up top, with Suresh Raina, who has played more matches and scored more runs than any other player in IPL history, offering class and composure in the middle. Pune are skippered by MS Dhoni, who captained Chennai Super Kings to IPL glory in 2010 and 2011 as well as to the final on four other occasions, while exiled England batman Kevin Pietersen will be looking to build on fruitful recent T20 stints in the Big Bash and Ram Slam having joined his fifth IPL outfit. Sticking with initials, SS, MM and RA could also be key for Pune - Australia captain and batsman extraordinaire Steve Smith; his countryman, seam-bowling all-rounder Mitchell Marsh; and a master of the art of spin bowling, Ravichandran Ashwin.
