SPOKANE, Wash. -- Gonzaga has signed California transfer Jordan Mathews to a financial aid agreement for the 2016-17 season.Gonzaga announced Matthews addition on Thursday. Mathews, a 6-foot-4 guard, is slated to graduate from California this summer, making him eligible to play for the Bulldogs immediately.Mathews addition is an immediate boost for the Bulldogs after losing Kyle Wiltjer, Eric McClellan and Domantas Sabonis from the team that reached the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament last season.
