NEW YORK -- The Chicago Cubs have placed outfielder David DeJesus on the 15-day disabled list after he sprained his right shoulder running into the centre-field wall Friday night. DeJesus was running almost full speed when he extended his right arm, which slammed into the padded wall in right-centre at Citi Field. His glove was knocked off his right hand, and DeJesus immediately went down, writhing in pain on the warning track.
