TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- Alabama?football coach Nick Saban has suspended guard Alphonse Taylor indefinitely from the team.Saban announced the decision Monday, one day after Taylor was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence. Saban said in a statement, We are very disappointed any time a player makes a choice that leads to this kind of behavior.Tuscaloosa Police spokeswoman Lt. Teena Richardson said Taylor had also left the scene of an accident and was arrested early Sunday morning. She said Taylor received a citation for leaving the scene.Saban addressed his decision Tuesday during an interview with ESPNs SportsCenter.I think that every one of these circumstances and situations is a little bit different ... but I think that when you have a DUI, what makes it significantly different is you have put other people in danger by the choice that you made and the decision that you made, Saban said. So, that, to me, is a little more serious in terms of what we need to do.The 6-foot-5, 345-pound Taylor started all 15 games at right guard for the Crimson Tide during the 2015 national championship season. Taylor was a preseason second-team All-Southeastern Conference pick by reporters covering the league.I would like to look at what were doing with Alphonse Taylor not as a punishment but as a treatment of what we need to do help him be a better player, to be a better person, to make better choices and decisions in the future, Saban said Tuesday.Taylor is the third member of the reigning national champion Crimson Tide arrested this offseason. Star left tackle Cam Robinson and defensive back Laurence Hootie Jones were arrested in May on weapons possession and drug charges.I dont like the fact in all honesty that we have off-the-field issues, Saban said. That always sends a signal to me that somethings not right here.ESPNs Edward Aschoff and The Associated Press contributed to this report.Vapormax Günstig Kaufen . Where possible trades are concerned, Letang himself has no final say on who his next team would be. Rossi told TSN Radio 1050 on Wednesday, "Ive been told that if the Penguins couldnt reach some sort of understanding with Letang, and the belief was they wouldnt be able to sign him to some sort of deal, that Toronto has emerged as a preferred landing spot - perhaps by Letang. It would be a place that he would be willing, if dealt, to perhaps sign a long-term deal." ' ' '
