Ranking the leagues best cornerbacks has become a popular exercise, but one of the players who often appears on those lists decided to flip the script a bit.In a column for The Players Tribune, the Denver Broncos?cornerback?Chris Harris Jr. ranked the five toughest receivers hes covered in his six-year career. At the top of the list is New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski, who Harris called not a stereotypical tight end, noting he has the route-running ability and hands of a wide receiver.Harris went on to provide a more detailed breakdown of how to defend the big tight end:The best way to defend him is to not let him get started. You gotta put hands on him early so he has to stop and start again. The thing is, you cant go overboard and play too physical. Because the officials are gonna let Gronk play football. You dont want to get into a wrestling match with him. When you bump him, you have to keep him at arms length. If you get too aggressive and get up in his face, hes going to use the 50-50 battle to push off on you, and then youre in trouble.Harris knows Gronks skills all too well after shadowing him in the second half of last years AFC Championship Game while the Broncos battled injuries at safety. Despite double-team help for Harris, Gronkowski beat the cornerback?for 40 yards on fourth-and-10 on New Englands last-minute drive, and again for a touchdown four plays later. That TD could have tied the game, but the two-point conversion failed and Denver hung on -- and then, of course, won the Super Bowl.Another of the few players to give Harris trouble last season also made his list: Pittsburgh Steelers wideout Antonio Brown. Last season, Brown broke Harris two-year streak of not allowing a TD in man coverage, posting?16 catches for 189 yards and a pair of scores in a Week 15 meeting in Pittsburgh.Harris called Brown the best pure route runner in the league before elaborating:Let me explain what I mean by great route runner. Its not exactly like Madden. Route running is an art, not a science. A lot of wide receivers, they always run their routes at 100% speed. As a DB, that allows you to get a feel for how you need to play them. But Antonio changes up his speed so that you never know what his tempo is going to be coming in and out of his cuts. Its kind of like in basketball when a point guard uses a little hesitation crossover to freeze the defender before exploding to the hoop.Rounding out Harris list: the Indianapolis Colts T.Y. Hilton, Houston Texans DeAndre Hopkins and Cincinnati Bengals A.J. Green. Notably absent from the list is Atlanta Falcons wideout Julio Jones, whom Harris and the Broncos faced last week, but the omission seems reasonable after Jones caught just 2 of 6 targets for 29 yards in the game.--?David DeChantfake jerseys china . He and his teammates will be looking to right the ship when the Kings play the third game in a six-game road trip Wednesday night against the 76ers in Philadelphia. The Kings (7-11) lost 101-95 to the Washington Wizards in overtime Monday despite Cousins 36 points and 20 rebounds. Cousins, fifth in the NBA in scoring (28.7) and 11th in rebounding (10.4), poured in 12 of his points in the fourth quarter, including the tying basket with 10.1 seconds left. The Wizards then reeled off the first seven points of the extra period to take command. Sacramentos only points in OT came on Rudy Gays 3-pointer with 16.8 seconds remaining, and Cousins missed all three of his shots from the floor and both his free throws.Overtime, Im sick about that, he told the Sacramento Bee. Philadelphia, which rested rookie center Joel Embiid, suffered its 22nd straight road loss, one shy of the franchise record established from March 29 to Dec. 23, 20155.ddddddddddddThe Sixers (4-14) have dropped four in a row overall to sink to the bottom of the Eastern Conference, a position they assumed the previous three years as well.Embiid leads the team (and all NBA rookies) in scoring (18.2), rebounding (7.8) and 3-point accuracy (50.0 percent), and is expected to return against Sacramento. The third overall pick in the 2014 draft, he missed his first two seasons following a pair of foot surgeries. The team has also been limiting him to 24 minutes a game as a precaution, and plans to continue to do so until at least Christmas. While Embiid figures to be back Wednesday, the status of veteran point guard Jerryd Bayless is far less certain.Bayless, signed as a free agent in July, tore a ligament in his left wrist in the preseason and missed the first 13 games. He played the next three, then sat out Sundays loss to Cleveland as well as the game in Toronto with soreness in the wrist.Personally, Im a little bit worried, coach Brett Brown told the Philadelphia Inquirer. The Sixers have been without forward Ben Simmons and center/forward Nerlens Noel all season.Simmons, the top overall pick in the last draft, broke his right foot in training camp and underwent surgery. He is not expected to return until January.Noel underwent minor surgery on his left knee in late October and is expected to miss a few more weeks. ' ' '
